CITY OF VIDOR - FREE LIMB YARD 

Based on damage assessments being conducted following the storm, the amount and extent of debris must meet applicable FEMA criteria before federally funded debris removal can be authorized. As a result, the City of Vidor is unable to assist with debris removal from private residential property unless those requirements are met.

Residents within the City of Vidor should make arrangements for proper removal and disposal of debris through their normal waste service provider or a private debris removal service, as applicable.

Free Limb Yard: The City of Vidor has a free, open limb yard located on Watts Street where residents can bring tree limbs and trees from their property. Residents are encouraged to use this location for eligible vegetative debris rather than placing it with other household debris.

Burn Ban Lifted: The City of Vidor has also lifted the Burn Ban, and residents may responsibly burn eligible vegetative debris as well. Outdoor burning rules must be followed.

Please be aware of downed power lines, unstable structures, flooding, or other hazardous conditions while engaging in debris removal activities. Do not approach or handle downed power lines.
