The City of Vidor Finance Department operates under the direction of the Finance Director and is responsible for financial management and accounting services support to all City departments. The Finance Department oversees the annual budget, payroll, accounts payable, revenue collection, utility billing and collections, cash and debt service administration, investment reporting and fixed asset management. The department also maintains the City’s financial records and prepares monthly financial statements and the single audit report. An audit is prepared annually by an external auditor to ensure the proper and ethical accounting of public funds.
